RYZIN ART // WIP Wednesday Leupold Mark 6

General / 17 June 2021

I was recently featured for RYZIN ART's WIP Wednesday, where they showcased my current personal project, the Leupold Mark 6 Rifle Scope.

Recently, I have been wanting to model a complete rifle in my personal hours to further practice and develop new techniques. However, due to limited time after hours, I decided to break it down into smaller units and attachments that I can model to completion in a shorter period of time. I decided to start with the Leupold Mark 6 because it is a reputable rifle scope with military connections. Additionally I really enjoyed the look of this scope and could see areas in which it would help me further practice hard-surface techniques.

Big thank you to my friend and art director Alan Van Ryzin for taking such amazing renders! Keep an eye out for updates over the next coming weeks as I finish up the game-ready model and textures.
